Lizzie Wicks

Lizzie Wicks is fast becoming one of Austalias most well known and respected young female talents.

Due to the success of her youtube channel, wich has now received 3.5 million hits, Lizzie is also known and respected overseas.

A dancer and choreographer for stage, music videos, recording artists, companies and television, Lizzie is allways on the lookout for her next big challenge. Some of her credits include: Harley Davidson, Emily Williams (Australian Idol), Xy Latu (X-factor), Phillipe (SYTYCD), NBL, Footlocker/Adidas, NIKE, Big Brother, Autosalon AUS/NZ, Shaneal and Dafina Zequiri.

Lizzie has also taught workshops for world renowned dance company Boogiezone and has just recently returned from the USA after teaching successful workshops in both Hollywood and Chicago.You can find Lizzie teaching regular classes at Mad Dance House in Brisbane, Australia.


Marrietta Lam

Marrietta has more than 15 years of professional dance experience, specializing in the field of streetstyles (funk, hiphop, break).  Marrietta started back in 1995 purely for the love of music and the attitude & self expression Hip Hop music represented.  Always challenging herself, progressing and experimenting with movement as the sounds of RnB & Hip Hop change.

With countless performances including National and International shows, support act entertainment and choreography for signed artists, Marrietta decided to teach the style.  In the Year 2000 she commenced the Original 100% Street Funk (Streetstylez) Workshops in Brisbane.

Marrietta’s most memorable moments, being a part of many community projects to inspire female teens to be positive and assert themselves in a world where they deserve to be seen as equals.

Now a mother, with a degree in Business and completing her second degree in Acupuncture, Marrietta still continues to play a large part in the scene of Hip Hop providing a platform for aspiring and talented young people to express their talents and desires to dance by employing & choreographing plus, strongly encouraging individuality in style. Marrietta is an inspiration to the up coming dancers and continues to motivate and encourage positive attitude that she herself experienced in the dance scene.


Matty B

Matty B’s teaching career spans over 20 years, beginning with his brother and at the time were known as the Balaba Brothers. Special mention must go out to Buddy Jamm who inspired Matty B! to groove. Matty B! founded JWA [Jammin with Attitude]; they had a fan base which spread over almost the whole east coast of Australia. Matty B then joined one of Australia’s leading crews, TRICK NASTY CREW.
He was also the choreographer for a number of award-winning crews:

Matty B has recently completed Raw Dance Company’s 2010 full time course and is contracted with Raw Dance Company. Matty B teaches at some of Brisbane’s leading studios including Raw Dance Company, Elements Collective and Mad Dance House, just to name a few.

Matty B is well known for his abstract style which has been described as simply EYE OPENING. Matty B launches trademark moves that make people go… “DO THAT AGAIN!?” Matty B is continually pushing the boundaries of dance and by doing so has created a style that is truly original and unseen before. Matt is known for his versatility and adaptability as well as his creativity and originality. He is constantly striving to create and conjure up something different and of course…WIERD.

Matty B sees dance as more than an art…he takes it even deeper to an almost philosophical level. Listening to Matty B speak about hip hop has inspired many people on many different levels. His “Dance is L.I.F..E.” theory on the creative process of dance is well respected by leading industry professionals.

Matty B is truly one of the purest HIP HOP practitioners in Australia.

A weapon with a spray can and highly skilled penmanship has landed “Sprinks” a well earned spot in the Sydney art movement.

A grand finalist in the 2011 series of “Secret Wars” Sydney, Gallery shows aplenty, a plethora of live performances under his belt, and the Australian helmsman of internationally acclaimed label “HLFSTR.WORLDFAMOUSINSYDNEY.” “Sprinkles” is fast proving himself a driving force and major player in the Australian creative scene.
